MarriageWorks.TODAY is operated by MediaWorkx Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide a faith-rooted marriage mentoring platform comprising a web application, mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Service").

2. What We Collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile data: your avatar photo, location, and couple pairing status, if you choose to provide them.
  • Assessment responses: your answers and scores from the Relationship Checkup. These are private to you and your linked partner.
  • Programme progress: journal entries, module completion, challenge streaks, and certificates earned.
  • Community content: posts and comments you choose to share in community spaces.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device information to help us improve the Service. We do not track you across other websites.
  • Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and personalise the Service.
  • To send transactional emails (welcome, purchase confirmations, password resets).
  • To send optional marketing emails (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To generate your certificates and programme progress reports.
  • To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.

4. How We Protect Your Data

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest.
  • We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security policies.
  • Your checkup results are never shared with third parties.
  • Only you and your linked partner can see your relationship data.
  • Staff access is restricted and audited.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Supabase -- database and authentication.
  • Stripe -- payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
  • Resend -- transactional and marketing email delivery.
  • Vercel -- application hosting.
  • Sanity -- content management for resources and podcasts.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (request a full export).
  • Correct inaccurate data via your profile settings.
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

7. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: data is kept for as long as your account is active.
  • Deleted accounts: all personal data is removed within 30 days.
  • Cancelled subscriptions: your data is retained so you can return at any time. You may request full deletion separately.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. No cookie consent banner is required for essential-only cookies under UK regulations.

9. Children

The Service is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice within the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
